Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities

Providers can typically be categorized into one or two specific specialties, but you need to be careful when searching for Network Providers by specialty. The Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) provider type is very broad in scope and could describe multiple types of providers that perform diagnostic services. For example, IDTFs could include, but are not limited to radiology providers, sleep study providers and laboratories.
