Changes occur constantly with almost 20,000 HealthChoice Network Providers; however, every effort is made to keep this list as current and accurate as possible.
After selecting a facility, it is important to reconfirm the HealthChoice Network status of the facility.
Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities
Providers can typically be categorized into one or two specific specialties, but you need to be careful when searching for Network Providers by specialty. The Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) provider type is very broad in scope and could describe multiple types of providers that perform diagnostic services. For example, IDTFs could include, but are not limited to radiology providers, sleep study providers and laboratories.
Provider Groups
It is the intent of HealthChoice to contract with urgent care clinics, hospitalists, emergency room physicians, pathologists and radiologists as groups, or clinics. However, any of these types of providers may be listed as an individual or under their clinic name. Because the clinic is not listed, does not necessarily mean they are not contracted. Please check for the individual practitioners name as well.
